His office also helped to email the notarised copy of my passport to australia national bank. My bank needed an ID verification for one of my bank accounts there.

I recently completed a 7-week internship at Ramesh Yum & Co, under the supervision of Mr. Ramesh N.P. Chandran and Ms. Tejal Harash, which concluded on September 27, 2024. This being my first-ever legal internship, I didn’t know what to expect initially, but it turned out to be a truly eye-opening and rewarding experience. As a third-year law student, I was eager to learn, and this internship gave me a valuable opportunity to explore various legal areas while being closely guided by such experienced professionals. Throughout my time at the firm, I was able to engage in a diverse range of legal work. From drafting Sale & Purchase Agreements (SPA) and working on defamation cases to assisting in criminal matters and divorce petitions, I was exposed to the practical side of law in a way that my classroom experience never could have prepared me for. I was given the opportunity to draft affidavits, and submissions, and I was able to participate in the preparation of cross-examination questions for witnesses during a trial. Notably, I also attended several court proceedings at the Kuala Lumpur Magistrate Court, including cross-examinations trials, as well as Selayang Magistrate Court and attended the Melaka Courthouse. What I appreciated most was the level of supervision and guidance I received. Mr. Ramesh and Ms. Tejal were always approachable and willing to share their insights and advice. Their mentorship allowed me to refine my legal research skills, improve my drafting abilities, and deepen my understanding of Malaysian law. It was particularly enlightening to observe how they handled complex litigation and client consultations with professionalism and precision. The entire team at the firm made me feel welcomed and supported, which made the learning process smoother. Overall, I am grateful for this internship and the practical experience I’ve gained in areas such as civil and criminal litigation as well as conveyancing. It was an enriching experience that has left me even more passionate about pursuing a career in law. I would highly recommend Ramesh Yum & Co to any law student seeking a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.

Its my first time looking for a lawyer to help a friend in need who was convicted by mistake. Found this hidden gem. They were really helpful and respectful. They were responsive. They asked for a early hearing to reduce the suffering of my friend. Had a problem paying for the denda with my card they did it for us with their personal card very helpful. Overall good and hassle free experience on our behalf within 7 days case closed which was running for a long time. Thanks again
